Here are all the albums I've listened to so far (that i remember) and their rating!
White Pony (2000) 8.5/10 On a relisten I understood why White Pony is one of Deftones best albums, and upon many other relistens I've realized it deserves an 8.5. As Chino says the songs all sound different, but tie together greatly. The only song that stops this from being a 9 is Back to School as it's a generic nu metal song which if I wanted I'd listen to limp bizkit lelz
Saturday Night Wrist (2006) 9/10 Really love a few songs off of here, picks up after the first 4 songs.
Deftones (2003) 7.5/10 Pretty boring in my opinion, some songs stood out but they just kinda mashed together. So other than Hexagram, the album is just mid.
Diamond Eyes (2008) 9/10 Same thing with Saturday Night Wrist, a lot of the songs are great it's just that I can't remember many of the ones that aren't too popular.
Koi no Yokan (2012) 8.9/10 The album that started the Deftones binge, amazing album breaks the mold of what Deftones usually does with alternative metal.
Gore (2016) 6.5/10 Not as good as the other albums but it's still good.
Pinkerton (1996) 10/10 I LOVE PINKERTON, legit all of the songs are amazing off of it.
Get Up (2023) 7/10 all i put in the album of the year thing for this is catchy nothing more to say
Ohms (2020) 7.4/10 mainly just had it as background music which it works well as.
Die Lit (2018) 8.4/10 Goes hard. I really like old Carti's sound and stuff.
Adrenaline (1995) Deftones debut album. It's pretty sick tbh establishes the Deftones sound but still mid 💔.
L'Ètoile D'afrique #18 (Single! 2023) 8/10 the horns tie everything together, flows well
Souvlaki (1994) 9/10 Not really into shoegaze that much, but as one of the definitive albums for shoegaze has definetly gotten my interest piqued.
VVV (Single! 2023) 4/10 my first below 5 rating :sob: sounds like knock off carti and travis soundcloud rap kinda like a mockery of how they sound, dont like it that much
Goodbye & Good Riddance (2018) 5/10 I dont like the sound, it just sounds like the raps of a heartbroken teen, would say it's mid but it's not enjoyable at all.
Covers (2011) HOLY SHIT I FORGOT TO ADD COVERS, as the title says it's just covers. Do like The Cars cover on this album though.
The Bends (1995) 10/10 AMAZING album, I really like Thom Yorke's vocals on this, all songs are fire.
Failed at Math(s) (2023) 8/10 Honestly its ok, its like if Radiohead wasnt for incels.
D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L (2000) 8/10 Same as Failed at Math(s) with the sound though some of the works resemble nu metal instead of art rock
Ferric Oxide (2020) 7.6/10 Has this rock sound that reminds me heavily of Pinkerton pretty nice.
Wolf (2013) 8.4/10 Pretty nice album I like the beats, the only thing is dislike is 'm vibing with the song then Tyler just out of nowhere drops hard r it catches me off guard everytime
Donkey Rhubarb (1995) 9.1/10 The ambience is really nice, would be something id play if i ever went into a submarine (one that wouldnt explode)
Playboi Carti (2017) 8/10 I really like the sound of this album, hits really hard.
Cherry Bomb (2011) 8.2/10 Really like this, it has rock elements added with rap, Tyler really goes off on this project.
Punk Goes Drill (2021) 8.7/10 I like this has cool beats ad samples and i really liked the kanye reference in one of the songs.
Detestation (2021) 3.4/10 Don't like the vocals the backing guitar is mediocre at best.
